We build tailored solutions for business and industrial processes where reliability and operational continuity matter, integrating them with the systems already in use.

Custom software and data

Applications, services and APIs for processes that must keep running. Integration with ERP, databases, BI and field systems; modernisation of existing software, including Excel, VBA and Access. DevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code and automated releases.

Planning and optimisation

Web platforms for scheduling vehicles, resources and activities within operational constraints: optimisation engines, route planning, interactive scheduling and comparison of planned and actual results.

Cloud architecture

Design and review on AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure and Hetzner: Well-Architected Reviews, FinOps, SysOps and security across the whole system lifecycle.

Logistics and transport: fleet planning.

A web platform for daily planning that assigns services to vehicles, taking into account time windows, capacity, scheduled maintenance and the use of external vehicles. Operational dashboards, anomaly analysis and plan-versus-actual comparison.

QP DRONE is QP NOVA's drone surveying division, drawing on field experience since 2012. We turn photogrammetric, multispectral and thermal imagery into point clouds, orthophotos, 3D models and vegetation indices: data to support design, document site conditions and plan works.

QP CompanionIn production

The spreadsheet you know, connected to your business processes.

QP Companion is QP NOVA's add-in for Excel on desktop and the web, enabling users to view and update business data. They work in a familiar spreadsheet, using their Microsoft 365 identity and permissions enforced at database level. Changes are validated and made available to business intelligence (BI) models.

QP DRONE captures the data, QP NOVA processes and integrates it, and TEAL 4D links it to asset elements. Work with us from the first survey or start with data you already have, keeping your work connected from one survey to the next.

About us

Four backgrounds, a shared engineering vision.

QP NOVA S.r.l. was founded in Milan in 2022. We bring together software, data, cloud and physical systems: from field surveys to the applications that support our clients' processes, in both the public and private sectors.

Our four founding partners bring complementary experience in IT, automation, energy and architecture. Alongside client projects, we invest our own resources in developing TEAL 4D and QP Companion.

Piero Quaroni

Enterprise and cloud architecture, integration and application modernisation.

Piero is a senior IT engineer and certified enterprise architect with over twenty years of experience in multinational organisations and a thorough understanding of business processes. His work covers the design and delivery of innovative solutions, complex systems integration, large-scale application modernisation and cloud-native architecture.

He has delivered critical data processing platforms and introduced artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions in industrial settings. His experience includes cost and process optimisation, operational efficiency improvements, and Well-Architected audits and advisory services for Fortune 500 companies.

His research interests include industrial automation, lean manufacturing, IT-supported supply chain execution, the Internet of Things (IoT) and digital twins.

Stefano Parri

Process automation and supervision, software for 3D visualisation and BIM.

Stefano is a senior software engineer with over twenty years of experience in industrial automation, robotics and process supervision, and a pioneer of web-based 3D visualisation. He has developed plugins for Rhinoceros, extensions for Autodesk Inventor ETO and Autodesk Configurator 360, and proprietary web-based BIM platforms.

In an earlier collaboration with the 3D Survey Group at Politecnico di Milano and the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo di Milano, he led the software development of a web-based BIM platform for managing construction site activities.

His interests include computer vision, open-source frameworks for photogrammetry and data visualisation, automated remote inspection and the monitoring of submerged assets using high-speed underwater wireless communication systems.

Simone Radaelli

Plant engineering, energy, remote control and data management.

Simone is a senior engineer specialising in energy management. His experience covers the design and efficient operation of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), mechanical, electrical and telecommunications systems, conventional and renewable power generation, automation and remote control systems. He has delivered projects in industry, defence, education and healthcare.

Since 2009, he has been a partner and technical director of Enertech Solution Engineering Firm, building expertise in project and business management.

His IT expertise includes data transmission media and protocols, optimised database design, and advanced data aggregation, transformation and analysis. He also has experience in information system security and defensive techniques and technologies.

Aldo Moia

Architecture and building surveys; UAV design and drone surveys since 2012.

Aldo has been registered with the Order of Architects, Planners, Landscape Architects and Conservators of the Province of Milan since 2001. His experience includes architectural design, construction management, construction site safety coordination, workplace safety and architectural surveys of public and private buildings. He has collaborated with leading architectural practices in Milan.

Since 2012, he has studied, designed and developed UAV/UAS platforms for photographic, photogrammetric and agricultural surveys. He has also collaborated on their technical development with the 3D Survey Group at Politecnico di Milano.
