2. What data we collect and why

2.1 Browsing data

This website is hosted as a static website on Microsoft Azure Storage and does not actively collect or store server access logs containing personal data of visitors (such as IP addresses or browser information).

Microsoft, as the hosting infrastructure provider, may process limited technical data (including IP addresses) at a platform level for the purposes of security, network operations, and service availability. This processing is carried out by Microsoft in its capacity as data processor, in accordance with the Microsoft Data Processing Addendum (DPA) and the Microsoft Online Services Terms. QP NOVA does not have direct access to such platform-level data.

2.2 Email communications

If you contact us by email at the address provided in the Contact section of the website, we will collect your email address and any other personal data you voluntarily include in your message.

This data is used exclusively to respond to your enquiry and to manage the related communication. The legal basis for this processing is the necessity to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Email correspondence data is retained for the time strictly necessary to handle your request, and in any case no longer than 24 months from the last communication, unless further retention is required for legal or contractual obligations.

3. Cookies and tracking technologies

This website does not use cookies, profiling technologies, or any other form of tracking. No data is collected through such technologies.

4. Data sharing and transfers

Your personal data is not sold, shared, or disclosed to third parties for marketing purposes.

This website is hosted on Microsoft Azure Storage, located in a European data centre region. Microsoft Corporation acts as a data processor on our behalf, pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR, and is bound by the Microsoft Data Processing Addendum (DPA) included in the Azure Online Services Terms.

While the data resides within the European Economic Area (EEA), Microsoft, as a US-based company, may access data from outside the EEA for limited purposes such as technical support and service operations. Such transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission adopted an adequacy decision on 10 July 2023 (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/1795), as well as by Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, incorporated in Microsoft's DPA.

Should any other transfer of personal data outside the EEA become necessary, it will only take place with appropriate safeguards in place in accordance with Chapter V of the GDPR.

5. Your rights

Under Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • access your personal data and obtain a copy;
  • request rectification of inaccurate data;
  • request erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten");
  • request restriction of processing;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest;
  • request data portability;
  • lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali) at www.garanteprivacy.it.
